A ghoulishly delightful time called “Ghouls and Gourds” will take place at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens to complement your Halloween revelries. The annual BBG frolics will feature a cornucopia of weird bands, even weirder workshops, along with incredible puppets and other oddities that are guaranteed to be appropriately…weird. All of this weirdness set against the BBG’s lush flora and springy fauna.

Also featured will be family-friendly musical performances, clever flea circuses, carnivorous plant feedings, “temporary toad” tattoo parlors and book readings at the Children’s Book Barn.

Ghouls and Gourds events and activities are free with Garden admission and take place rain or shine on Cherry Esplanade. (All events are sheltered in case of rain.) Brooklyn Daily Eagle
