Tunnels of Love, Coney Island
This photo was taken in 1929 by Irving Underhill. From November 28, 200 to April 6, 2008, it was part of the Brooklyn Museum‘s Goodbye, Coney Island exhibition: a pictorial outline of the fabled amusement park‘s evolution over the past 125 years. Indeed, it was a truly delightful and informative experience; a nostalgic testament to a spit of land that’s quite at home in myth.
