All manner of fantastic creatures great and small and slightly suspect came out to play in the 30th Annual Mermaid Parade last Saturday in Coney Island. The costumes ranged from the ocean-themed to the quaintly exotic to the humorously bizarre; then there were those who wore barely anything at all. As always, it was a lot of fun…verging on insanity, but a lot of fun.
